BAIC Ruixiang Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BAIC Ruixiang") was established on April 23, 2021. It is a new benchmark created by the Municipal Government and the District Government of Chongqing and BAIC Group for promoting the transformation and upgrading of Chongqing automobile industry, achieving high-quality development, optimizing BAIC Group's strategic layout and expanding industrial development space.

BAIC Ruixiang covers an area of more than 1,340 mu, with a total construction area of 360,000 square meters. Five process production lines including stamping, welding, coating, final assembly and engine are built, and KUKA\ABB\Kawasaki intelligent robot working platform is equipped to form a complete, independent and efficient multiple models mixed flexible manufacturing system, with the process automation rate of key production lines reaching more than 95%. It covers the field of fuel vehicles and new energy, and comprehensively distributes the market segments such as SUV, MPV, passenger cars, trucks, special vehicles and new energy electric vehicles, achieving an annual production capacity of 500,000 whole vehicles.

The company relies on the "BAIC Group" for the technical resource advantages and the mature technology and manufacturing system of three assemblies of battery, motor and whole vehicle control system of new energy products. Complete vehicle design and development platforms, vehicle trial production lines, vehicle road performance test platforms, comprehensive test platforms for parts and components, and professional laboratories for vehicle electronic simulation tests have been established. It has 300 units (sets) of automobile testing, detection and performance development equipment.

The company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., carried out in-depth exchanges with the world-famous consulting company Ricardo, CAERI, CATARC and Beijing Aerospace Test Technology Research Institute, and has in-depth cooperation in new energy vehicles in the aspects of the R&D of the motor drive system, the test platform and the automotive noise and vibration engineering. On this basis, it has absorbed related technologies, established advanced new energy motor performance test bench and power battery pack test system, and mastered key technologies such as new energy vehicles, intelligent interconnection, light in weight, power battery technology, electric drive axle, dual-motor gearbox and CSS, with more than 100 core patents.
